1. Marassi Al Bahrain

Known for: beach parties and fairs

This beach-resort type destination has been home to some of the hottest parties, DJ sets, and fairs since its inception. It has also supported local craftsmen and entrepreneurs by giving them a home to promote their businesses like the Stand Up Paddleboarding and Kayak competitions which are great fun for the whole family.
2. Jazair Beach
Known for: being one of the most beautiful beaches in the country

Fancy a snorkeling trip complete with beach barbecue? This is the perfect place. You can make a day off it and visit the nearby Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), Lost Paradise of Dilmun Waterpark, and Al Areen Wildlife Park. Also only at Jazair Beach can you find the Bahrain Sailing Club where you can practice sailing a dinghy and/or rent rooms for the night.
3. The Ritz Carlton Beach
Known for: luxury waterfront property

Despite being a members only beach, this stretch of waterfront is so pristine and luxurious that guests can look forward to a resort lifestyle experience. This stunning beach sweeps around a lagoon with its own island and private marina, great for watersports activities like kayaking, jetskiing, and swimming.
4. Karbabad Beach
Known for: popular public beach
Head for the Bahrain Fort past the Bapco petrol station at Seef, and you will find this great public beach that’s often visited by locals and expats alike. It’s a great spot for an evening walk or a picnic or to shoot some pictures. Local customs apply so please don’t wear anything revealing or showing too much skin.
5. Jarada Beach
Known for: golden sands and clear waters

This island appears in the ebb and disappears in the tide. You can reach Jarada by speed boat and if you don’t own one, there are regular trips from Coral Bay or you can arrange one through Jarada Tours. If you would like to have your piece of sandbar to yourself, this is a great place to do it. If you’re writing a novel about a shipwreck, this is also a great place to do it.
Known for: prestigious waterside address
Surrounded by azure waters and with instant access to the Arabian Gulf, most residents in Amwaj have their own boat. This place boasts easy access to a number of offshore locations like Jarada Island, and is host to several events throughout the year, including the prestigious Bahrain Boat Show. Take advantage of the Amwaj Dive Club, if you want to be PADI-certified.
7. Bahrain Yacht Club
Known for: regatta

The Bahrain Yacht Club has been in the business of bringing people who have a passion for sailing together for over 50 years. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor, or want to try and sail out the rough waters; this club will provide mentorship, camaraderie, and awesome parties to get you inspired. Head on down to Sitra to get your feet wet.
Known for: Thalassa Sea & Spa

Perched on the pristine beaches of Zallaq, the Sofitel beachfront is private and luxurious, and boasts the only Thalassa Sea & Spa in the GCC countries. This spectacular spa hotel blends French art with traditional Bahraini styles. You can indulge in water sports like banana boat, jetski, or build up your tan.
9. Al Dar Islands
Known for: full moon parties
If you’re going for a weekend vacation, there’s no better place than Al Dar islands. A 10 minute boat ride from Sitra, Fisherman’s Port, you can spend the night in one of the 6 exclusive chalets or rough it out in the beach huts. The private beach boasts of 400 meters of clean sand and the shallow waters make for perfect, safe swimming.
10. Coral Beach Bahrain
Known for: leisure club

Relaxation? Adventure? Entertainment? Or all three? You’ll find it here. With a spa, salon, food, and diving facilities; you can make it an excursion and bring the whole family. Aside from scuba diving, you can also enjoy other watersports like boating and jetski. Unwind afterwards by listening to the DJ sets and hit the restaurants before heading home.
